Job Description

A prestigious fine dining Japanese restaurant in Dubai is seeking an experienced and strategic Restaurant General Manager to lead its operations. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of Dubai’s hospitality market, guest spending habits, and the ability to plan and execute events and activations. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, including P&L management, team leadership, concept refinement, cost control, and directing marketing strategies to ensure the venue’s continued success.

To be considered for the role of Restaurant General Manager for a Fine Dining Japanese Restaurant in Dubai you will need to fulfill the following requirements:

Take full ownership of the restaurant’s P&L, monitoring revenue, expenses, and profitability while implementing effective cost-control measures.
Lead the staff, including hiring, training, and managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
Refine and maintain the restaurant’s concept, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s vision and market trends.
Collaborate with and direct the marketing team to develop campaigns, events, and activations that resonate with Dubai’s dynamic clientele.
Maintain strong guest relations by engaging with high-profile guests, understanding their preferences, and providing tailored dining experiences.
Analyze market trends and competition to adapt strategies that enhance the restaurant’s appeal and drive revenue.
Ensure operational excellence in all areas, including service delivery, food quality, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Strong knowledge of Dubai’s market, including guest spending habits, seasonal trends, and the competitive landscape, is essential.
Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment is mandatory, with a strong focus on Japanese cuisine being a plus.
Proficiency in financial analysis, staff management, and cost control, along with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work in a high-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
