Job Description

A reputable catering company in the UAE is seeking a skilled Chef with strong experience in sandwiches, canapé preparation, and high-volume catering. This is an urgent role with a start date before September, offering a great opportunity for a culinary professional who can lead the preparation of elegant finger food, premium sandwich assortments, and catered menus for VIP clients, events, and corporate functions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Sandwich Chef, Cold Kitchen Chef, or Catering Chef in a high-volume kitchen

Expert in creating gourmet sandwiches, sliders, wraps, finger foods, and canapés

Strong background in event catering, food presentation, and buffet/banquet layouts

Ability to manage prep, production, and delivery coordination for catering orders

Skilled in flavor balancing, plating, portion control, and creative presentation

Experience working under tight deadlines and coordinating with FOH event teams

Ability to work with premium ingredients, dietary preferences (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.), and high standards for food safety and hygiene

Experience training and supervising a small team is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the cold kitchen production focused on high-end sandwiches, canapés, and event platters

Prepare, garnish, and present catering items in line with client briefs and brand quality standards

Collaborate with the events team on menu planning, portioning, and timelines

Ensure high levels of hygiene, quality, and consistency across all catering orders

Support new menu development and seasonal offerings

Maintain inventory and prep schedules according to catering calendar

Operate in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment with high attention to detail

Salary: AED 10,000 – 12,000 per month
